Why parking decides the plan

The real constraint is space on the ground. Ibiza is a busy leisure airport with limited apron capacity, and in the peak months private aircraft compete with a large volume of scheduled and charter traffic. The Spanish aeronautical information publication for the airport, the AIP entry for Ibiza (LEIB), sets out seasonal rules: for the period from 1 May to 15 October, larger general aviation aircraft that stay on the ground for more than a few hours need parking authorisation from the airport before their slot can be requested.

For you, that has three practical consequences:
