About the author

Oliver Hartley is the pen name of the JetPriceCheck editorial desk. Every route, airport, aircraft, destination and guide page on the site is written and kept up to date under this name.

The desk's job is to turn published data into decisions a charter client can use: how long a flight takes, which aircraft fly it nonstop, which airports suit the trip and what it is likely to cost before a quote. Figures come from named sources, and each page shows where its numbers come from and how they were calculated.

Pages are rechecked when the underlying data changes: a new pricing model, updated airport records or revised aircraft specifications. Estimates are always labelled as estimates; a price becomes a quote only when a licensed operator confirms aircraft, dates and availability.

Oliver Hartley is a pen name. We use one byline for the desk so readers have a consistent point of contact; the standards below apply to every page it signs.

How pages are researched and checked

  • Figures come from named sources: airport operators and regulators, aircraft manufacturers, event organisers and published market rates. See where our numbers come from.
  • Times, ranges and prices are calculated the same way on every page, as set out in our methodology.
  • Estimates are labelled as estimates. Where no source states a figure, the page says so.
  • Errors reported through the contact page are corrected on the page concerned.
