Route overview
- At about 903 nm, most aircraft categories can fly this trip nonstop, so cabin size and budget drive the choice more than range.
- There are 2 airport combinations for this trip. Choosing between them changes the flying distance by up to 8 nm, so ground transfer time often matters more than the airport choice.

Private jet Singapore to Bali: the corridor in brief
A private jet Singapore to Bali flight turns one of Southeast Asia's most popular getaways into a short, private hop: our figures put the great-circle distance at 903 nautical miles, and a light jet covers it in about 2 hours 45 minutes. That is a long enough sector to feel like a real journey, yet short enough that you can leave a Singapore office after lunch and be watching the sunset from a clifftop villa in Uluwatu the same evening.
The data sections above this guide show the numbers for the route: flight times by aircraft category, the airports we plan around at each end, the aircraft that suit the distance and our estimate ranges. This guide explains what those numbers mean in practice and adds what the table cannot show: which Singapore airport to leave from, what happens on arrival in Indonesia, how long the drive from the airport really is, and when the island's calendar affects your plans.
We are a charter broker. We do not own or operate aircraft; we source your flight from licensed operators, compare the options for your date and stay with the trip until you land. You can read more about how we work on the JetPriceCheck homepage.
Who flies private from Singapore to Bali
The traffic on this corridor is mostly leisure, and it tends to fall into three groups. Families and friends heading to a villa for a long weekend or a school holiday make up a large share: they want to travel together, with luggage, surfboards, prams and sometimes a nanny, without splitting across scheduled flights. Wedding and celebration parties form the second group, often booking a larger jet for guests and a return flight a few days later. The third group is business travellers and investors with interests in Bali's hospitality and property sector, who use the flight as a working day out and back.
What they share is a dislike of the parts of the trip that have nothing to do with flying. The scheduled service between the two cities is frequent, but the busy terminals, long immigration lines at peak times and baggage waits at Ngurah Rai can add hours to what is, in the air, a short flight. A private charter compresses all of that. You arrive at the terminal shortly before departure, your bags go with you, and the aircraft leaves when your group is ready, within the airports' operating rules.
A private jet Singapore to Bali trip also works well as a round trip. Many clients book the outbound leg and the return sector from Bali to Singapore together, which changes the pricing picture, as we explain below.
Choosing the aircraft for a Singapore–Bali private jet charter
At 903 nm, this corridor sits comfortably inside the range of every jet category in our table. Every jet from the light jet upward is shown as flying the route nonstop, so the choice is about passengers, luggage and cabin comfort rather than range.
Light jets: the right-sized default
For groups of up to about six or seven, a light jet is usually the right tool for a private jet charter from Singapore to Bali. Our data names the Light Jet as the smallest category that flies the route nonstop, with an estimated flight time of about 2 hours 45 minutes. The Embraer Phenom 300E is a typical example: quick, efficient and well suited to sectors of this length.
The trade-off is space. Most light jets have a cabin you cannot stand up in, and baggage volume is finite. For a couple of hours in the air that is fine for most travellers, but it matters on this route because holiday luggage is bulky. Surfboards, golf bags and diving equipment should be declared when you ask for a quote, so the operator can confirm they fit.
Midsize and super midsize jets for families and longer stays
Step up when the group or the luggage outgrows a light jet. A midsize jet such as the Cessna Citation Latitude adds a flat-floor, stand-up cabin and more baggage space, and our model shows it at about 2 hours 40 minutes. A super midsize aircraft such as the Bombardier Challenger 350 brings a wider cabin and seats up to nine in our table, at about 2 hours 30 minutes.
On a flight approaching three hours, a stand-up cabin and a proper lavatory start to matter, particularly with children or older travellers. That comfort is the main reason to size up here; the time saving between categories is only around a quarter of an hour.
Heavy jets, long-range aircraft and turboprops
Heavy jets such as the Embraer Legacy 650E or the Bombardier Challenger 650 suit groups of ten or more, or clients who want a larger cabin for a celebration. Ultra-long-range aircraft appear in the table too; they are more aircraft than the route needs, but one may be in the region and available on your date. The Cessna Citation Longitude is worth a look as a roomy super midsize alternative. VIP airliners are for very large parties and are arranged case by case.
Turboprops appear at about 3 hours 45 minutes, a full hour slower than a light jet, and our data marks their range fit on this sector as unknown. Over open water at this distance, a stop may be needed depending on the type and load, so we check each turboprop option against the route before offering it. Browse the full range in our aircraft guide.
Seletar or Changi: where your flight leaves Singapore
Singapore gives you two choices for a private departure, and the fact pack lists both.
Seletar Airport (WSSL/XSP) is Singapore's dedicated general and business aviation airport, in the north of the island and operated by Changi Airport Group, according to its Wikipedia entry. For a business jet, it usually means a quieter terminal, short walks and a straightforward departure. Its distance from central Singapore is modest, and for clients living in the north or centre of the island it can be the quicker drive. Our Seletar airport guide covers the practical details.
Singapore Changi Airport (WSSS/SIN) is the island's main international hub, in the east. Business aviation is handled there too, through a dedicated private terminal for business jet passengers, and some operators prefer Changi for their own operational reasons, such as fuel, handling or aircraft basing. Changi is the airport our data uses as typical for this corridor.
Which one your flight uses depends on the operator, the aircraft and slot availability on the day. We tell you the airport and the terminal before you confirm, and it is included in your trip sheet. If you have a preference because of where you are staying, say so when you ask for a quote. For other departures from the island, see our Singapore private jet charter hub and the guide to private jet airports in Singapore.
Arriving at Ngurah Rai: formalities and ground transfers
The airport
Bali has one international airport for business jets: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (WADD/DPS), often called Denpasar airport. It sits on the narrow isthmus in the south of the island, between Kuta and Jimbaran, with its runway reaching out into the sea. Private flights are handled through a ground handler that meets the aircraft, escorts passengers through the formalities and brings the bags.
Immigration, visas and the tourist levy
This is an international flight, so everyone on board clears Indonesian immigration and customs on arrival. Entry rules depend on nationality. Many visitors can use a visa on arrival or apply in advance for an electronic visa on arrival through the Indonesian immigration e-Visa portal. Bali also charges foreign visitors a tourist levy, which the provincial government collects through its Love Bali portal. Rules and amounts change, so check them for every passenger before you fly; your operator and handler will also want passport details in advance to file the flight.
Passports should normally be valid for at least six months beyond arrival. Travellers with medication, drones, pets or large amounts of cash should check Indonesian rules well before departure, as these are the items most likely to delay a private arrival.
Getting to your villa
The drive from the airport is often the longest part of the trip. South Bali's roads are busy, and journey times vary a lot with the hour. Jimbaran and Nusa Dua are close by; Seminyak and Canggu are further north along the west coast; Uluwatu is to the south on the Bukit peninsula; Ubud, in the hills, is the longest run. Arranging your arrival for the quieter part of the day can save a surprising amount of time, and we can help coordinate a car to meet the aircraft.
Private jet Singapore to Bali price: reading the estimates
The price table above gives estimate ranges in US dollars from our pricing model, which works from published market rates. They are not quotes: the figure you pay comes from an operator's quote for your exact date, aircraft and itinerary.
For a light jet, our model estimates a one-way flight at roughly $15,500 to $22,000, and a return trip at roughly $19,500 to $27,500. A midsize jet sits at about $19,000 to $29,500 one way, a super midsize jet at about $24,500 to $34,500, and a heavy jet at about $34,000 to $52,000. Ultra-long-range aircraft run to about $49,000 to $69,000, and VIP airliners start around $75,000 and go past $100,000. A turboprop is estimated at about $12,000 to $21,000 one way, subject to the range check mentioned above.
What moves the price on this route
- Where the aircraft is based. An aircraft already in Singapore or Bali avoids positioning costs. One flown in from elsewhere in the region adds flying time to your bill.
- One-way or return. A one-way charter usually includes the aircraft's empty flight home. A return trip uses that leg for you, which is why the return estimate is so much lower than two one-way flights.
- Waiting days. If the aircraft and crew wait in Bali, the operator may charge for crew accommodation and parking. For stays of more than a few days it is often cheaper to release the aircraft and book the return separately.
- Peak dates. School holidays and the year-end period tighten availability on both sides.
- Airport and handling fees, which vary between Seletar, Changi and Ngurah Rai.
Our private jet cost guide explains these drivers in more depth. When you are ready for real figures, request a quote through JetPriceCheck and we will compare what operators can offer for your date.
When to fly: seasons, holidays and Nyepi
Bali's weather follows two broad seasons. The drier months run roughly from April to October and are the island's busiest time for visitors. The wetter months, roughly November to March, bring heavier afternoon showers, but many travellers still fly in for the year-end holidays. For a private flight, the practical impact is on ground time and departure planning rather than on the flight itself.
The most important date to know is Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence. During Nyepi the island shuts down for about 24 hours, and the airport closes to flights, as described in the Nyepi entry on Wikipedia. It usually falls in March but moves each year with the Balinese calendar, so check the date before planning any trip in early spring. No private flight can land or depart during that window.
Singapore's school holidays, Chinese New Year and the year-end period are the other peaks for this private jet to Bali corridor. Book early for those dates, particularly for a larger aircraft.
Empty legs between Singapore and Bali
Because so many trips on this corridor are one way, aircraft regularly need to reposition between the two cities. Those repositioning sectors sometimes appear as empty legs: a flight offered at a lower price because the operator would otherwise fly it without passengers.
An empty leg suits flexible travellers. The timing and aircraft are set by the operator's schedule, and the flight can be cancelled if the original charter changes. If your dates can move, see our empty-leg flights page and tell us you are open to one when you enquire.

Private jet Singapore to Bali: frequently asked questions
How long is a private jet flight from Singapore to Bali?
Our model estimates about 2 hours 45 minutes by light jet and about 2 hours 30 minutes in a super midsize or heavy jet, for a great-circle distance of 903 nm. Actual times depend on winds, routing and air traffic control.
Which Singapore airport do private jets use for Bali?
Either Seletar, the island's business and general aviation airport, or Changi, the main hub, which also handles business jets through a private terminal. The operator decides, and we confirm the airport before you book.
Do I need a visa to fly privately to Bali?
Arriving by private jet does not change Indonesia's entry rules. Many nationalities can use a visa on arrival or an electronic visa on arrival, and Bali charges a tourist levy on foreign visitors. Check the official portals for each passenger before you fly.
Can a private jet fly to Bali during Nyepi?
No. The airport closes for about 24 hours on the Day of Silence, which usually falls in March. Plan to arrive before it or after it.
Is a return trip cheaper than two one-way flights?
Usually, yes. On this corridor our model's return estimate for a light jet is about $19,500 to $27,500, against $15,500 to $22,000 for a single one-way flight. Long waits in Bali can change that, so we compare both options.
What luggage can I take on a Singapore to Bali private jet?
It depends on the aircraft. Light jets have limited hold space, while midsize and larger jets take much more. Declare surfboards, golf clubs and other bulky items when you ask for a quote so the operator can confirm they fit.
Questions about this route

About 3 h 45 min in a turboprop, based on a great-circle distance of 903 nm, typical cruise speed and a taxi and climb allowance. Winds, routing and the aircraft chosen change the real time.
How much does a private jet from Singapore to Bali cost?
Our estimate for a one-way turboprop is US$12,000 to US$21,000, including typical positioning cost. This is an estimate from distance and typical hourly rates, not a quote; a live quote depends on aircraft availability and dates.
Which airports can I use between Singapore and Bali?
